While it is true that certain types of news may seem distant from daily concerns, I largely disagree with this view, as news plays a vital role in shaping awareness, decision-making, and social responsibility.

Admittedly, some news content appears to have minimal direct impact on individuals. Reports about political conflicts in remote regions or complex economic policies may feel disconnected from people’s immediate experiences. As a result, many individuals perceive such information as irrelevant and prefer to focus on their personal lives instead. This is especially true in an age of information overload, where people are constantly exposed to large volumes of news, much of which may seem repetitive or sensationalized. In this sense, selective consumption of news is understandable.

Without access to such information, individuals may struggle to make informed choices in an increasingly complex world.
